Our portfolio spans private residences, bespoke commissions, and family homes of every scale, each shaped by a commitment to quality, craftsmanship, timely delivery, and design that lasts.

01 The founder

We design timeless
interiors — slow,
refined, intentional.

Cornermoon was founded by Niloufar Kursun in 2001. Her passion for interior architecture grew from a deep appreciation for historic buildings and the stories they carry. After studying at the Geneva Centre d’Études Classiques, she spent a decade at Studio Bach, contributing to projects across Geneva, London, Paris, Istanbul, and the South of France.

Over the years, the practice has developed an approach rooted in observation, research, and careful listening. Every project begins with understanding the people, place, and architecture involved, before evolving through site visits, sketches, references, and dialogue.

Cornermoon does not follow a predetermined style. Instead, each project is approached on its own terms, guided by context, proportion, materiality, and purpose. The goal is not to impose an aesthetic, but to create spaces that feel natural, enduring, and deeply connected to the people who inhabit them.

01 Interior Architecture & Design We blend design and science to transform interior spaces — residential, commercial, and institutional — across the full project lifecycle, from concept to delivery. Our services encompass new construction, renovation, space conversion, and architectural consultancy, underpinned by deep expertise in building regulations and the latest construction techniques. With nearly 30 years of practice, we bring a recognised signature aesthetic and a proven record of on-time delivery to every commission.
02 Design & Decoration Advisory An advisory service built around each client's unique vision, lifestyle, and budget. We begin with in-depth discovery — understanding how our clients live, what they love, and what they want to achieve — before curating a tailored portfolio of design options with clear rationale for each. From initial concept through to final delivery, we guide clients across new construction, renovation, and redesign projects with a process that is as personal as the spaces we help create.
03 Project Management End-to-end project management across the full design and construction lifecycle, from concept and schematic development through to site representation and closeout. We coordinate integrated teams of architects, engineers, builders, and specialist consultants — preparing schedules, budgets, and work plans, managing contracts and finances, and maintaining rigorous oversight at every phase. Our collaborative approach ensures each project is delivered on brief, on budget, and to the highest standard.
04 Bespoke Development A full-scope development service for residential, hospitality, commercial, and public projects, delivered in close collaboration with architectural firms and real estate developers. We oversee every stage — from draft concept through construction to final installation — coordinating builders, supervising contractors, and resolving on-site challenges on our clients' behalf. With over 20 years of site inspection and project supervision experience, we ensure every commission is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest agreed specifications.
