A couple who had outgrown a classical Haussmannian apartment moved into a newly constructed modern flat. The brief was simple: more functional space and large windows, with the high ceilings, modern parquet, and proportions that drew them to the new construction project in the first place.
We redesigned the floor plan completely in this new construction project. Full-height oak joinery throughout. The kitchen becomes a working room rather than a destination. The result is a home that breathes in straight lines, stone, and extraordinary artwork.
The palette is bone, oak, and a single deep clay used sparingly — the kitchen island, a bookcase, the kitchen tap. Nothing else competes.
"Every space has a sentence it wants to finish.
Our job is to listen for it."
