A young family needed their apartment to keep up with them. The brief was about flow: rooms that could absorb the noise of mornings and settle into something quieter by evening.
We rethought the circulation entirely, opening the living spaces to the light and pulling the kitchen into the heart of the plan. Storage disappears into the walls. A long oak bench runs the length of the dining area, doubling as seating and as somewhere to set things down.
The palette stays close to the ground — chalk, pale oak, brushed brass. The only departure is the green-grey of the kitchen cabinetry, drawn from the garden beyond the window
